About NLL Chatter

Graeme Perrow is a long-time lacrosse writer. His first lacrosse game was a Buffalo Bandits / Philadelphia Wings game in Buffalo in 2000, and he was hooked. Graeme became a Toronto Rock season ticket holder (without ever having seen a Rock game) for the 2001 season and has been present for two Championship wins (and one loss) in Toronto and one win in Rochester. Graeme lives in Waterdown, Ontario, a suburb of Hamilton.

While he makes no apologies for being a fan of the Toronto Rock, he tries to be as unbiased as possible. You will see game reports for many games Graeme sees live, analysis and opinions on things like trades, a fair bit of statistical analysis (though he tries to keep the actual math to a minimum), and lots of other fun stuff. If you’re a fan of the NLL, you might just enjoy hanging out here.

Graeme began a personal blog in April of 2005, and his third posting was a short summary of a Rock game. The game summaries, commentary on the league, some history, and the occasional attempt at humour continued until October of 2010, when he joined the (now extinct) NLL Blog. In August 2011, he joined In Lax We Trust (now In Lacrosse We Trust) as writer, editor, and co-manager. In December 2011 he created NLL Chatter. From January 2012 until October 2021 he wrote a weekly column for IL Indoor, initially called The Money Ballers (focusing on clutch players and performances), and later called Stats Central (focusing on statistics in general).

In 2023, Graeme created nllstats.com, a website that displays all NLL stats that are available. There, you can see every team, every player, and every game (with detailed stats for all games since 2005), as well as interesting ways to view all of that data.

Graeme was a finalist for the 2024 Tom Borrelli Award for Media Person of the Year.
